This week I searched for online courses and certificates I could work on this semester related to web accessibility. I found this free course on Coursera offered by The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign called An Introduction to Accessibility and Inclusive Design. I enrolled in the course and planned out the modules I will be learning each week for the next five weeks.
For this week, I got familiar with the course orientation and started on Module 1.
This week I continued finishing Module 1 and learned more about mobility disabilities, cognitive disabilities, and disability etiquette. I got insights from the Perspective panels where people with certain disabilities talk about their experiences and concerns. I also took the quiz for module 1 and passed.
